Alpha Arbutin

The melanocytes in the skin produce pigments like melanin through the action of tyrosinase, activated by exposure to UV radiation. This leads to the formation of spots and freckles during sun exposure. Arbutin, extracted from the bearberry plant, blocks the action of tyrosinase, preventing melanin production. It reduces brown spots, prevents the formation of new discolorations, and evens out scars and acne marks, promoting a uniform skin tone.
